About Radio Row, NY
Back in the days where radio broadcasting dominated the world of reporting, there was a thriving business community called Radio Row. This district took care of the high demand for radio sales and repairs in all of New York.
It was demolished in 1966 for the construction of the World Trade Center. Although it is now only referred to as a lost neighborhood, the home-grown nature of Radio Row remained in the hearts of many New Yorkers.
